Cooling Install

Cooling that fits the house, not the catalog.

Central AC where there is ductwork, mini-splits where there is not, and an honest recommendation about which one belongs in your home.

Newly installed ductless mini-split indoor unit in a New England home

Older Boston homes rarely make cooling easy. Plaster walls, finished attics, and tight basements all change the answer. We walk the house, run the load calculation, and lay out the line-set routing with you before anything gets drilled.

  • Central AC and ductless mini-split systems
  • Manual J load calculation on every job
  • Line-set routing planned with you first
  • Duct rework and airflow corrections
  • Concealed line-set covers, painted to match
  • Up to 7-year warranty

Sized correctly

An oversized system cools fast and leaves the house clammy. We size it to run steady.

Careful in old homes

Minimal cutting, tidy penetrations, and everything patched back the way we found it.

Quiet operation

Condenser placement and mounting matter as much as the equipment rating.

Charged and verified

Refrigerant charge and airflow measured and documented at commissioning.

Frequently asked

Can you add AC to a home with no ductwork?+

Yes. Ductless mini-splits are usually the answer, and in some homes a slim-duct system hidden in a closet or soffit works well too.

How long does a cooling install take?+

A single-zone mini-split is often one day. Central AC or a multi-zone system typically runs two to four days.

Will the outdoor unit be loud?+

Modern inverter condensers are quiet, and we place them where the sound will not sit under a bedroom window.
